
The reclaim system shall be a Ross & White Model WR-30. A sewer line for emergency overflow shall be supplied by others. The system shall reclaim water at the rate of 25 gallons per minute. The system shall require only one wash bay drain to one underground settling tank. The settling tank shall be capable of holding 350 usable gallons of wash bay water. Water make-up for the system shall be supplied by a fresh water rinse.
Operation shall be as described herein. System to be filled with water to start. The first stage of the system shall be a 3 horsepower sump pump capable of pumping 25 gallons per minute at 50 PSIG of wash bay water from the subgrade storage tank to the centrifugal separator. The centrifugal separator shall be capable of removing 98% of suspended solids, specific gravity 2.6 down to a size of 74 microns.
The wash water is then further cleaned at a removable 50 micron basket filter. From the basket filter, the wash water is then transferred to the wash system. Components of the system shall include the following:
All fittings, pipe, tanks, valves and separator rated for 150 PSIG maximum. Piping shall be schedule 40 galvanized unless otherwise indicated. Concrete work, including storage pits, access holes, and drain line, to be supply by purchaser.
The reclaim equipment shall be warranted against defective parts and faulty workmanship for a period of twelve months from the date of start-up. This warranty shall consist of the replacement and installation of defective assemblies or parts without cost to the owner for a period of 90 days. From 91 days to 365 days after start-up, the warranty shall consist of replacement of parts only at no cost to the owner. This warranty shall not cover malfunctions of valves due to foreign objects in the supply lines, malfunctions due to freezing, malfunctions due to maladjustments of controls because of tampering by unauthorized personnel, or malfunctions due to misuse or abuse of the equipment.
