Wash Water Reclamation System
Model WR-100
General Capabilities
The wash water recycling system shall have the capability of removing 95% of suspended solids having a specific gravity of 2.7 or greater
and a size of 60 microns or greater from the wash water being returned from the vehicle wash process. With the exception of the sump
pump, all equipment including tanks, pumps, centrifugal separators, controls and valves shall be located above grade. Equipment shall
include, but not be limited to the following:
- 1. Sump pump driven by a 1/2 horsepower totally enclosed motor assembly and having a flow rate of 50 gallons per minute.
- 2. Fabri-Basket filter with 60 mesh polypropylene reusable bag suspended in a stainless steel perforated retainer basket and housed in
a heavily coated steel vessel with quick-seal like requiring no special tools to open.
- 3. Vertical tank assembly, fabricated from polyethylene, 500 gallon capacity complete with bulkhead fittings. Tank to be cone bottom
design with bleed-off valve to permit periodic bleed-off of fine particle sludge that accumulates in bottom of tank.
- 4. Wash pump, horizontal flex-coupled, flooded suction type with base mounted mechanical seal driven by 7-1/2 horsepower motor
for 110 gallons per minute delivery.
- 5. Centrifugal separator assembly complete with closed recovery sludge basket, permitting easy removal of sludge build-up in the
basket. This assembly shall be installed on the discharge side of the wash pump.
- 6. Lot of miscellaneous valves and fittings as required for proper operation and service.
- 7. All equipment except sump pump shall be mounted on enamel coated equipment stand.
Important Note:
This design of water recycling system should be used only with a triple basin design of sump.
Warranty
The reclaim equipment shall be warranted against defective parts and faulty workmanship for a period of twelve months from the date of
start-up. This warranty shall consist of the replacement and installation of defective assemblies or parts without cost to the owner for a period
of 90 days. From 91 days to 365 days after start-up, the warranty shall consist of replacement of parts only at no cost to the owner. This
warranty shall not cover malfunctions of valves due to foreign objects in the supply lines, malfunctions due to freezing, malfunctions due to
maladjustments of controls because of tampering by unauthorized personnel, or malfunctions due to misuse or abuse of the equipment.
